Washington/New York: Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, announced on Saturday his eagerness to visit India later this year.
His comments followed a conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where they explored significant opportunities for collaboration in technology and innovation.
Musk shared on X, "It was an honor to speak with PM Modi. I am looking forward to visiting India later this year!"

Musk is recognized as a key figure in the Trump administration, leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which focuses on reducing government spending and the federal workforce.
Following their discussion, Modi took to X to express, "Spoke to @elonmusk and talked about various issues, including the topics we covered during our meeting in Washington DC earlier this year. We discussed the immense potential for collaboration in the areas of technology and innovation."
He further emphasized, "India remains committed to advancing our partnerships with the US in these domains."
